The Otty Original Hybrid mattress is a 4-layer hybrid mattress that combines the unique properties of an innerspring mattress with a top layer of memory foam.
It contains 64% springs and 36% foam.
The 4 layers:
- Temperature-regulating memory foam

- 16 cm (6.2") pocket springs
- HD base foam
But what does all of this mean?
Temperature-regulating memory foam (3 cm / 1.18")
The first layer of the Otty Hybrid is a layer of memory foam with cooling properties.
The innovative Otty Hybrid Cool Blue Gel memory foam has been designed to enhance breathability, allowing for a cooler sleep. ❄️
The cooling gel foam also has additional pin holes for airflow.
This allows excess heat to flow out of the mattress and cool air to draw in.
High-density foam (3 cm / 1.18")
Specially designed Reflex Foam provides comfort, stability, and support.
This supportive sleeping surface prevents you from feeling the innerspring layer underneath.
Up to 2000 pocket springs
The Otty mattress relies on up to 2000 pocket springs (depending on the mattress’s size) to maximise support and minimise motion transfer. 🚣
The Otty Hybrid has 16 cm (6.2") full-size pocket springs instead of mini springs for a more quality experience.
This is also the prime reason for the mattress’s premium stability and medium-firm rating.
5 cm HD base foam
The base layer of the Otty mattress provides a solid foundation that enhances stability and gives the mattress its durability, enabling it to be enjoyed for a long time.
The base foam layer acts like the "bones" of the mattress, keeping everything stable and preventing sagging over time.
Side support panels

However, it’s also soft enough to encourage side sleepers to sink in sufficiently, allowing the heavier body parts to sink in a little deeper and reducing aches on pressure points.
But we wouldn’t recommend the Otty Original Hybrid mattress for stomach sleepers.
Stomach sleepers need a firm mattress with minimal sinkage. ⚓

How firm is the Otty mattress?
The Otty Original Hybrid mattress is the firmest in the Otty Sleep range. 🧱
This Otty firm mattress is on the firmer side at 7 out of 10 on the Sleep Hero firmness scale, where 1 is the softest and 10 is the firmest.
If you’re of a larger build, it might still feel a little too soft, but it’s much firmer than other hybrid mattresses and pure memory foam mattresses. 🧽
Heavier weight people feel more comfortable on pure innerspring mattresses as they are firmer than other mattresses and offer much more stability.
They’re also the preferred choice for stomach sleepers who need firmer support.
If you’re looking for a softer hybrid mattress, we recommend the Nectar Hybrid or the Simba Hybrid.
Is the Otty mattress good for couples?

Is the Otty mattress good for hot sleepers?
The unique airflow system of the Otty Hybrid mattress ensures a much cooler sleep than conventional memory foam mattresses. ✅
This is due to the cooling gel and pinholes in the memory foam layer and the additional airflow capabilities of the side support panels.
Of course, the pocket springs in the Otty mattress also play a role in this.

The Otty mattress is rolled up and vacuum-packed in a compact cardboard box. 📦
Delivery is free and usually takes between 3 - 7 days after your order has been processed.
Otty’s delivery partners will send you text messages to inform you that your mattress is on its way.
Otty offers you numerous ways to improve your delivery.
The delivery options include:
